Moving Next Month ----- Texas, here we come!!!!

This may cause us some problems with keeping our buget; however, we are still going to try very hard to maintain it. We are trying not too spend anything that we don't have to on groceries until we are settled in there. We are moving with only what we can fit in our vehicles (as God has told us to). Therefore, besides a small stockpile of bathroom and cleaning essentials we will pretty much be starting over on building up our grocery stockpile when we get there. We are moving about 1 1/2 hours SE of Dallas, 1/2 hour S of Tyler so any advice on grocery shopping with coupons in that area would be greatly appreciated. We are really excited to see what God has in store for us.

  2. That's great. I grew up in Texas but recently we moved to NC (husband is in military). We miss it so much. We lived about 20 minutes east of Dallas. I've been to Tyler a few times, though am not sure what stores they have. You should have a Kroger and they always ALWAYS have good deals and double and triple coupons.

  3. We are moving to Frankston ---actually mailing addy is Frankston but on the map it is in a place called Coffee City, right on Lake Palestine. It looks as if we'd have to drive to Tyler for any real shopping. But where we live now we have to drive 1/2 hour to get the good deals anyway. We wouldn't even mind driving to Dallas, etc.... for the great stock up deals (if worth the gas $$$). Thanks for your responses.

  4. I would think with a family of 7 you'll be leaving alot behind if you're only taking what is in your car.... why aren't you taking everything?

  5. ChrisLeigh, God told us that we are only suppossed to take what we can fit into our vehicles. Which, was a little nerve-racking at first; however, he had told us that everything would be provided when we got there. So we started preparing for the move. God relieved those nerves a few weeks ago when he showed us that the place we are moving was abandoned by the previous owners and they left everything. That really taught us a lesson in having true faith in God.
